Seong-Jin Cho - Debussy mp3 download

Listen to Debussy’s 3rd Movement Clair de Lune on his Suite bergamasque played by Seong-Jin Cho. On the eve of the 100th anniversary of Claude Debussy’s.

Seong-Jin Cho. 16 November 2017 ·. Hello, I am really excited about the release of my Debussy album today. This is my second studio album after the Chopin Concerto/Ballade album. I hope you will like it. Thank you always for the support. 늘 드뷔시 앨범을 여러분께 선보이게 되어 정말 기쁩니다.

Youthful Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho seized the spotlight with a hard-fought win in the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition and was promptly signed to Deutsche Grammophon. He is of the technician genus that often takes home contest prizes, but this is not a bad thing in a perhaps age. He is emerging as a specialist in French music (it is said that he undertook a crash immersion course in Impressionism in the museums of Paris while studying there), but perhaps he might be compared to Wilhelm Kempff or Rudolf Serkin

Before winning the gold medal at the International Chopin Competition in 2015, South Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho performed 20 or 30 concerts a year. Since winning that prestigious award, he's tripled the amount of concerts on his schedule, including several which found him filling in for the piano superstar, Lang Lang, who's been nursing an injured hand. You spent some time studying in Paris with Michel Beroff at the Paris Conservatory. Debussy is one of his specialties, so I'm curious what you may have learned from him as you were exploring this music? "I always am curious about pedal. Many musicians put a lot of pedal when they play Debussy's music. Like very so-called impressionistic style.

In his latest recording the 23-year-old South Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho presents an all-Debussy programme. Debussy follows Cho’s two best-selling Chopin recordings. It is entirely fitting that Seong-Jin Cho, winner of the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition, should now turn to Debussy.

The 2015 Chopin Competition winner Seong-Jin Cho explores the music of Claude Debussy on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the great French composer’s death.
