Despite the diversity of the artists, the compilation is a compelling and coherent album, which sounds like a journey through the diverse Highgrade universe. Highgrade Records will release their next label compilation, Group of Connected Heads Vol. 2, this April. Founded in 2000 by DJ and producer Tom Clark, Highgrade is now one of Berlin's most prominent labels. Their sound is simple and consistent: no-nonsense tech house specifically tailored for the club. Group of Connected Heads Vol. 2 showcases many of the label's most stalwart members, such as Todd Bodine, Jens Bond, Daniel Dreier and Clark himself, plus newcomers and occasional contributors like Dachsund and Cab Drivers  .
