Most likely it's because it's not terribly well known. Anyway, this is an absolutely gorgeous sampling of Russian Orthodox Church music. The Italian baroque influences are evident in some of the pieces, but the rich Russian chordal style always comes through. The voices are transcendent, and truly evoke a sense of the sacred. If you are ever feeling angry, sad, hurt or stressed out, this is the perfect album to put you at ease. Track 19 will take your breath away.

Victor is the first and only solo album by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson under the name "Victor" released January 9, 1996 on Atlantic Records outside Canada and Anthem Records within Canada.
