Stephen" is a song by the Grateful Dead, written by Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh and Robert Hunter and originally released on the 1969 studio album Aoxomoxoa. The same year, a live version of the song was released on Live/Dead, their first concert album. Unlike the studio version, live versions usually included a section of the song called the "William Tell Bridge", which was used to segue into "The Eleven"

If I understand this correctly One St. Stephen album was somehow a soundtrack for your film called The Devil’s Reservation? I would like to know how did you come together to do this album? I had written a script titled the DEVIL’S RESERVATION in 1974. While finalizing the script, mailing it off to The American Film Institute for a hopeful grant and waiting for their response - a group of musicians and I went into OWL studios to put together a 11 songs I had written (music and lyrics) and 1 song (music by Bill Blechschmid with my lyrics) for the soundtrack

Find the latest tracks, albums, and images from One St. This is an album which is generally regarded as one of the finest heavy acid psych albums of its time. Don L. Patterson wrote the music and lyrics, was lead vocalist, played electric guitars, directed and produced the album 'One St. Stephen' in March of 1975. The music was originally intended for a film Don was developing with the working title 'The Devil's Reservation'.

Don L. Due to a famous Jazz musician with the same name, Don used the alias of One St. The music was recorded at the legendary Owl Studios (Columbus, Ohio), using the same 8-channel analog recording deck that was used to tape the audio at Woodstock in 1969
