Vesselina Katsarova (Bulgarian: Веселина Кацарова) (born July 18, 1965) is a Bulgarian mezzo-soprano opera singer. Vesselina Katsarova was born in the central Bulgarian town of Stara Zagora.

Friedrich Haider accompanied on the piano. If you like this, the trio recorded the Lied on the Nightingale Classics commercial CD; "Wir Schwestern Zwei, Wir Schoenen.

She is noted for her great tonal clarity, agility, dramatic power, endurance, and ability to sing high notes with great power and sustained vocal consistency, which made her an ideal Queen of the Night in her early years. In recent years, she has enjoyed huge success with a number of the most important bel canto roles.
