Blue to the Bone" is a song written by Michael Garvin and Bucky Jones, and recorded by American country music duo Sweethearts of the Rodeo. It was released in August 1988 as the second single from the album One Time, One Night. The song reached on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. On the Blue Side is an album by saxophonist Hank Crawford and organist Jimmy McGriff recorded in 1989 and released on the Milestone label the following year. Sweethearts of the Rodeo's second album, One Time, One Night, came out in 1988 and continued on the success of their first.
