Alabama is a country music and southern rock band from Fort Payne, Alabama, United States. The band was founded in 1969 by Randy Owen (lead vocals, Rhythm Guitar) and his cousin Teddy Gentry (bass guitar, background vocals), soon joined by Jeff Cook (Lead Guitar, fiddle, keyboards). Feels So Right is the fifth studio album by American country band Alabama, released in February 1981 by RCA Records. It was their first on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. On the all-genre Billboard 200 the album peaked at and stayed for more than three years, longer than any other Alabama album. Feels So Right produced three Number One hits on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart: "Old Flame", the title track and "Love in the First Degree"

My Home's in Alabama is the fourth studio album by American country band Alabama, released in May 1980 on RCA Nashville, their breakthrough album. The title track pays homage to Alabama's southern rock roots. It reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in early 1980.

This fourth studio album eventually became the group's first major label debut studio album to be distributed by RCA Records label in Nashville. After this first major label album was released, Alabama would go on and record more new studio albums at the RCA Records label for the rest of their music career
