It has some great Frank Zappa quotes (all from one radio interview), interspersed with tracks that span his entire career, from "Freak Out" to his final 1988 tour. Considering that the disk is almost seventy minutes long, and focuses on a lot of different aspects of his music, it's not a terrible thing to use those shortened versions. And the collection has some spectacular music.
The third and final promotional Frank Zappa anthology manufactured by Rykodisc in the mid-1990s as a promotional vehicle to reach radio stations served primarily as a way to promote the collection of previously unreleased recordings on the forthcoming anthology, The Lost Episodes. The tracks taken from Zappa's earliest albums ("Hungry, Freaks, Daddy" and "Concentration Moon") have the original bass and drum tracks restored, removing Zappa's overdubs that were added to the first generation of CDs from this era.
