Barbara Cook is in glorious voice and adds her own inimitable style. Her conductor, the late Wally Harper arranged this album and did a glorious job doing so. Only Cook could put over a song like "Lavender Blue" in this day and age and bring out the romance and avoids the "corn" factor. Now here's the tragedy. On a Delta Airlines flight, dumb-dumb here left a bag with cd's in the seat pocket and of course this was one of the cd's.
