Hijack's "The Horns of Jericho", from 1991, is acknowledged by many veteran UK hip hop fans as the magnum opus of Britcore; to the initiated it holds the status of Public Enemy's "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back". It isn't nearly as politically themed as the . classic though, so it's just as much Ultramagnetic MC's "Critical Beatdown" or Tuff Crew's "Back to Wreck Shop" in terms of being a showcase of pure hip hop skills at their peak. However, I will admit that the album is not perfection, and the sands of time have contributed to slightly weathering down its appeal over the years also.

Intro, Phantom of the Opera, 05:11. The Syndicate Outta Jail, 03:48. Airwave Hijack, Pt. 1, 03:33. Hijack the Terrorist Group, 04:53. The Badman Is Robbin, 03:07.

Jericho is a city, populated since ancient times, in the West Bank, Palestine. Jericho may also refer to: Jericho, Queensland, a village. Jericho, Tasmania, one of the oldest townships in Australia. Jericho, South Australia, a suburb of Kadina. Shire of Jericho, Queensland, a former local government area (1916-2008). Jericho, a community in the municipality of Lambton Shores, Ontario. Jericho, New Brunswick, community in Brighton Parish. Jericho Beach, Vancouver, British Columbia.

In 1991, The Horns of Jericho was released, but not in the . The group released the single "Daddy Rich" which was popular in the UK. The music video for "Daddy Rich" was shot in Los Angeles. Because Warner Brothers did not release the album to the US market, Hijack soon parted company with the label then later split due to musical differences and went their separate ways. DJ Supreme founded Backbone Records, whilst Kamanchi Sly and DJ Undercover founded Reservoir Records and recorded as Mr Pink and Mr Blonde for a short period. Kamanchi Sly changed his name to Unknown MC and had chart success with his brother, DJ Pied Piper. DJ Pied Piper and the Masters of Ceremonies's single "Do You Really Like It?" (Relentless Records, 2001) reached number 1 in the UK chart.

In between 'The Badman Is Robbin' and 'The Horns Of Jericho' album, Hijack released 'Style Warriors Revenge' back on the Music Of Life label as a stop gap while Hijack were waiting for their album to be released by Warners Brothers after the collapse of Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate Records
