Black Sabbath - Critical Review: Paranoid mp3 download

Paranoid is the second studio album by the English rock band Black Sabbath. Released in September 1970, it was the band's only LP to top the UK Albums Chart until the release of 13 in 2013. Paranoid contains several of the band's signature songs, including "Iron Man", "War Pigs" and the title track, which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching number 4 in the UK charts. It is often cited as an influential album in the development of heavy metal music.

This is the sabbath's 2nd studio album released in September 18th, 1970 in Regent sound studios in London. The genre is Heavy Metal for it's time, the length is 41:51, and is also a big hit at it's time too. Very nice. Overall, it's not really Black Sabbath's best but it's really cool. The riffs are catchy, the lyrics are meaningful and doesn't have any choruses in any of their songs in this album. I love how much work they put making one of the earlier heavy metal albums even though I wouldn't call this a metal album.

Black Sabbath Paranoid. by Mikesn EMERITUS August 16th, 2006 3154 replies. Release Date: 1970 Tracklist. Black Sabbath swung open the iron doors of heavy metal with their debut album, Black Sabbath. The album was pretty successful for a debut album, and the band was eager to replicate that success. Lo and behold, Paranoid, the band's sophomore effort. In the UK, Sabbath released Paranoid at the end of 1970, the same year as their self-titled album

As British as fish 'n' chips, this pre-metal 1970 classic captures Ozzy and co as rock pioneers alongside Led Zep. Paranoid, a huge hit single, was ironically a filler. After the anti-Vietnam war epics Iron Man and War Pigs, forget the instrumental disc – that's like having extra chips with your chips.

Paranoid is perhaps the most influential metal record ever as it really defined the sound of the genre as a whole. This is not only considered one of the best metal albums of all time, but it is often cited as one of the greatest albums of any genre of all time. Right off the bat, I was surprised by the classics on this album that I somehow didn't even know were by Black Sabbath. War Pigs, Paranoid and Iron Man are all.

Many say Master of Reality (their 3rd album) is heavier than Paranoid, but Master was less fullfilling (still a good album, though), while Paranoid had an extremely clear and catchy sound. Track 3 was, unlike the rest, was light and used soft blues-like music. Lyrics - 10 The lyrics are awesome and meaningful: 01.
