It features all the legendary pianist's issued recordings made by RCA Victor between 1940 and 1976, and includes one LP issued on the DECCA label in 1978. The collection also includes the recordings Rubinstein made in England for the English label His Master's Voice (HMV) between 1928 and 1940, most of which were released in the United States by RCA on its Victor label

The Arthur Rubinstein Complete Album Collection includes only the vinyl LPs as a template for the facsimile original jackets. The earlier recordings, initially released on 78-rpm discs, generally lasted only a few minutes each, and most of them had no individually designed sleeves. These early mono recordings appear in three sets with 14 CDs as Vols. CD 80 beethoven – violin sonata no. 8, brahms – violin sonata no. 1 ~ rubinstein, szeryng. CD 81 mozart – piano concertos no. 23 & no. 21 ~ rubinstein, RCA victor symphony orchestra, wallenstein. CD 82 beethoven – piano sonatas no. 14 Moonlight , no. 26 Les adieux , no. 8 Pathétique ~ rubinstein.

The Arthur Rubinstein Collection is a 94-CD set containing 106 hours of music documenting this seminal pianist’s entire recording history. Rubinstein was one of the pivotal pianists of the 20th century, with his life spanning from 1887 through 1982. This collection will be central to the teaching and scholarly examination of the development of piano performance, the piano repertoire and Rubinstein’s own musical idiom. Arthur Rubinstein - Chopin 19 Nocturnes (Vol. 49)Audio CD. Arthur Rubinstein. Rubinstein's playing is silky smooth throughout both discs of nocturnes here. His interpretations are excellent. I highly recommend this album.
