Bonnie Tyler - Diamond Cut mp3 download

All songs from Diamond Cut (1979) album.

Diamond Cut is the third studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. It was released in February 1979 by RCA Records. Chuck Pratt of The Pittsburgh Press described the album as "a charmer", but stated that none of the songs were "blockbuster", like "It's a Heartache" from her previous album. He highlighted "The Eyes of a Fool", "What a Way to Treat My Heart" and "Louisiana Rain" as the best tracks. All tracks written by Ronnie Scott and Steve Wolfe, except where noted. Bonnie Tyler – vocals.

This is my favourite Bonnie Tyler album although it did not yield any major hits. The lead single was Louisiana rain, one of only two songs here not written by the producers Ronnie Scott and Steve Wolfe - the other is Bye bye now my sweet love. Louisiana rain is a Tom Petty song though I don't recall ever hearing his version. I'm sure it must be good but I find it difficult to believe that it is any better than Bonnie's outstanding cover. The remainder of this album contains mostly mellow love songs
