Sam Reid and the Riot Act is an American roots and bluegrass band of the un-pure variety, with plenty of flatpicking and three-part harmonies punctuated by driving drums and Caribbean rhythms. The band delivers their own brand of live acoustic music influenced and continually inspired by traditional achian fiddle tunes and the rhythms of the vast Caribbean Sea. Sam grew up flatpicking bluegrass guitar outside of Boston and joined up with Johnny Ransom while the two were members of country/punk outfit Three Day Threshold. Gettysburg, PA's own John Campbell holds it all.

Slow Burn is a studio album by Albany, New York hip hop musician Sev Statik, released on March 7, 2005 through his own independent label Pointman Music, in association with Pitch Control Music. While Sev Statik, real name Joseph Evans, had also released two albums under the name Stu Dent, Slow Burn is his second studio album under the Sev Statik moniker, following up on 2002's Speak Life. Riot Act is the seventh studio album by American rock band Pearl Jam, released on November 12, 2002 through Epic Records. Following a full-scale tour in support of its previous album, Binaural (2000), Pearl Jam took a year-long break. The band then reconvened in the beginning of 2002 and commenced work on a new album. The forged metal figurines were created by blacksmith Kelly Gilliam. According to Ament, the band had trouble coming up with a name for the album. After the artwork had been finalized and the tracks were sequenced, the band spent weeks trying to come up with a title.
