But that doesn't mean it isn't worth it! As per Krust standard, every song is meticulously crafted, and most contain original recorded drums: a rarity in Drum n Bass. For the record (no pun intended), a lot of this album wouldn't really classify as true-to-form Drum n Bass, as it leans more to the experimental side. Thompson has been active as a recording artist since his debut single with UK top 10 charting Bristol collective Fresh 4 in 1989. His release rate did, however, slow down between 2008 – 2017 as he studied and established himself in other fields such as Neuro Linguistic Programming and life coaching. Krust also appeared on Talkin’ Loud's soundtrack to UK horror movie Long Time Dead with a cover of David Bowie and Giorgio Moroder’s ‘Cat People’.

Krust (born July 26, 1968) is the artist name of Kirk Thompson, a Bristol born and based drum & bass producer, artist, DJ and co-owner of the Full Cycle record label. Beyond his roles in the music industry, Thompson is also responsible for two businesses: creative consultancy Disruptive Patterns a. ore .

Adopting the role of innovator, Full Cycle cohort Krust focuses on the concept of experimentation for his first full-length opus. He draws on a myriad of techniques and styles from subtle snatches of jazz, in "Second Movement", to breathtaking symphonic beauty in the awe inspiring "One Moment".
