Screen Memories is the fourth studio album by American musician John Maus, released on October 27, 2017. The album was his first set of newly-recorded music since We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves (2011). Recorded in two years at his Austin, Minnesota home, most of the its subject matter concerns apocalyptic themes inspired by the newsfeed of world events he garnered while making the LP. Some of its song structures and melodies were created with the aid of an artificial neural network.

Jim Croce (Jan 10, 1943 ‒ Sept 20, 1973) was an American singer-songwriter from South Philadelphia whose biggest single "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" hit number 1 on the US charts in the summer of 1973. His influences included Ian & Sylvia, Gordon Lightfoot and Woody Guthrie. Sadly, Croce died in a small commercial plane crash one day before his third album, "I Got a Name" was to be released. Early life Croce was born in South Philadelphia.

Jim Croce : Photographs & Memories : Classic Hits (2004). Photographs and memories Christmas cards you sent to me All that I have are these To remember you. Memories that come at night Take me to another time Back to a happier day When I called you mine. Chorus: But we sure had a good time When we started way back when Morning walks and bedroom talks Oh how I loved you then. Summer skies and lullabies Nights we couldn't say good-bye And of all of the things that we knew Not a dream survived.

Photographs & Memories repackages some of his best work. Romantic acoustic-oriented songs were his hallmark, and songs like "Time in a Bottle," were huge hits because of their easy sentimentality. I Got a Name" was the singer as well-worn folk traveler, while "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" and even "You Don't Mess Around with Jim" followed standard boogie chord progressions, albeit with Croce's softer rock feel. This was not long after Jim's death in a plane crash. I soon got Jim's entire collection of original music and would play those records often. Even now, 30 years later, I still like Jim's music.
