Irreverent Mind w Judy Cohen. Effective non-dual approach to life situations. When nothing you've tried has worked . Because you really can't help yourselves. don't you ever get tired? Because I do. Yeah. one has to wonder what's up with a spiritual system where everyone tries so hard to stay within the lines, fearful to be wrong, different, odd or disagreed-with. What’s A Girl To Do begins as it means to go on and all too soon ends: a peach bruised by itself, tumbling along in earnest. It’s somewhere between the Nile Rogers school of pop composition, in which each hit begins and moves forward with its own drop, and the lilting melancholies of The Other People Place; steady techno tick-tick-ticks of bass and keys that soar among and sooth one another. Once it was in clubs and mainstream radio the bubbling intensified until A Girl Between Two Worlds was expanded into the Between Worlds album, and released as a free download in 2012 through the D1 Bandcamp. Let’s get it straight: the smutty strut of the expanded release is an enjoyable one.
