A talented jazz singer based in the Cleveland area, Barbara Knight released her first CD with her working quartet, Angel Eyes, in 2007. Knight started on her career a little late, not working on becoming a jazz vocalist until she had an opportunity to sing with her college jazz ensemble at Kent State. After graduating with a degree in Voice and Music Education, she began a 13-year association with the Harry Hershey Orchestra in 1980, including a two-year stint with the band in the show Stompin' at the State. Since 1993, Knight has been the singer with the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra
