Digg performing There Are Days at The Armoury in Denver, CO September 25th, 2015.

Digg There Are Days (Self-Released). Atypical and progressive, the quartet spend plenty of time using tuneful guitar work and creative saxophones, thus birthing a mix of funk, blues, rock and jazz that's as timeless as it is engaging. Though it's probably a sound best experienced live, this recording does a great job of capturing that chemistry while also reminding us of the many benefits of inspired genre blending.

Long days by the beach, family day trips and sweltering nights during the summer are all best experienced with a soundtrack. And whether you like to stream your tunes or collect the best albums on vinyl, these recent releases are well worth your time. King's Mouth' by The Flaming Lips. 15 albums in, and The Flaming Lips are still delivering great music. Grant Brunner is the Commerce Lead at Digg. Based in Delaware, he spends his time writing, playing games and enjoying nature whenever possible.

The album feels like a rose opening to meet the sun, each petal containing a different message. Monae captures the bliss of sexual fluidity, the eloquent anger and spirituality of black feminism, the temporary high of nihilism, the sandbagged weight of self-doubt and finally the euphoric reckoning of learning who you ar. Listen to the full album: 2. Mitski - 'Be The Cowboy'. We already knew Mitski was a master songwriter, but the synchronous displays of restraint and lushness on 'Be the Cowboy' are doubly extraordinary. There are many regions where the networks of roads are incredibly long and dense. Turns out a great part of the west is not one of them.

is the third studio album by American rapper Ab-Soul. It was released on June 24, 2014, by Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). The record serves as the follow-up to his critically acclaimed Control System (2012). The album features guest appearances from Black Hippy affiliates Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q and Jay Rock; as well as Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco, Action Bronson and Mac Miller (as Delusional Thomas), whose in-house studio is where Ab-Soul recorded the majority of the record, among others.

There Are Days Lyrics. And I'll catch you now, oh Catch you now, oh Catch you now, oh. I've been asleep since Monday morning But I won't let time control me Putting in my two-weeks now Yeah, yeah. There are days when I would rather be alone Not picking up the phone, it feels like I've been set free But there is never a time I wish I was gone Whoa, whoa

The song was recorded by Leo Reisman and His Orchestra, with Lou Levin, vocal (November 1929), and was featured in the 1930 film Chasing Rainbows.

The album's punchy title track was co-written by Jessie Ware, another artist who's made a name replicating the sounds of pop's past, along with Ware's frequent songwriting collaborator Kid Harpoon ("Wildest Moments", "Night Light"); Ware and Harpoon's style is usually easy to pick out, but it's barely felt on "Days Are. Gone", as Danielle Haim's staccato delivery pops and locks where Ware's vocals would have crested and swelled. Days Are Gone is so polished that Haim could easily be seen as clinical and lifeless, but their lighthearted attitude complements their recording rigor.

Rather, there were 8 days in a week! For reasons not entirely clear, between the 1st and 3rd centuries the Roman Empire replaced the 8-day week with a 7-day week. The earliest evidence for this new system is a Pompeiian graffito from AD 60. Gradually, this system spread throughout the empire and by 4th century, had reached India and China. Since a lot of cultural aspects at the time revolved around religion and deities, it is no surprise that these elements also influenced the names of the days of the week

Today, she's dropping what's possibly the best album of all time. LISTEN UP PLEBS, THIS AIN'T A JOKE. ? For those that actually think the conscious, in-depth, socially aware, powerful themes that this album explores is a joke and would rather make sex jokes about an underaged cartoon pig, you're part of the problem! Hidden behind the innocence is a societal critique and exploration of human and animal worth through an intricately. Now I personally love the album and think it's her best.
