Carcass - Symphonies of Sickness mp3 download

Symphonies of Sickness is the second album by British extreme metal band Carcass. It was released through Earache Records on 4 December 1989. With Symphonies of Sickness, Carcass kept the grindcore sound of Reek of Putrefaction, and added a death metal style.

What would have I become if it wasn't for you? I mean, THIS was THE record that completely changed my decision in life to what should I do for a living !The very first moment I laid my eyes on the front cover, i knew this record would hold some serious noise, and man, was I right, the intricate forensic lyrics, the gruesomely crude collage, the almost unintengible growls (and strange medical slang

With Symphonies of Sickness, Carcass began to show some of the hidden talent that would grow and bloom on following releases. From this point on, the band would join the metal elite, and their place in music history was safe and secured. Having owned this album for years and getting more into grind throughout that time period as well, I think it's misleading of people to say this had a profound impact on grind. I find that Carcass's first two releases established more of a niche within the grind genre, establishing the so called gore-grind bands alot more than say the more death metal side of grind such as Brutal Truth, Pig Destroyer Discordance Axis etc.
