Even though she wasn't beating listeners over the head with her beliefs, Grant's wholesome, girl-next-door image was a big part of the appeal of perky pop-rock offerings like "Every Heartbeat," "Galileo" and the major hit "Baby Baby.

Grant's 1991 album Heart in Motion became her best-selling album and the best-selling Christian album of all time, selling over six million copies. Led by the international hit "Baby Baby", Grant’s second number one single on the Hot 100, the album had five singles chart in the top 20 in the United States and Canada and was certified.

This may be a dream come true This may be poetry in motion This may be a dream come true But when it all comes down It's an awful lot to do. HATS! Heart in Motion is the eighth studio album, and twelfth album by Christian pop singer Amy Grant, released on March 5, 1991 Heart in Motion. Studio album by. Amy Grant. In contrast to its predecessor, the more acoustic Lead Me On, Heart in Motion consists of songs that were more heavily processed, as was the style of mainstream music at the time. In addition, unlike Lead Me On, Heart in Motion contains few overtly religious songs, with most of the lyrics for the songs on the album dealing with love or other life issues which would not be the exclusive concern of devout Christians.

It was the song "Baby Baby" which was the most famous song of Amy Grant. It was a really catchy song and popular in the early 90's. I guess that's when some of Amy's older fans started wondering is she had went secular. It is a good pop song. It is kinda very catchy. Well, OK almost I could call it an ear worm. It's like the songs "Can't Get You Out of My Head" by Kylie Minogue and "La Luna" by Belinda Carlisle and many many more. Many people including myself thought that it was a romantic love song. Well, it was a love song for her child. Her six-week old child was the inspiration for this song. It is not the best song of this album but it is an amazing one. Personally my favorite song here is "That's What Love Is For" which is full of emotion. This album carries all kinds of good pop melodies. "Every Heartbeat", "Good for Me", "You're Not Alone", and "I Will Remember You" are very well-made goods-sounding tracks. The song "Ask Me" is about sexual abuse a child have faced in the life. The lyrics made many people asking if Amy had lost her faith in Christ. The lyrics speak for her. The words about finding hope in Christ at the time the world seems to have collapsed. No one should ever judge anyone because you cannot know what kind of troubles this person have been through. The Lord knows better than anyone of us. "Ask Me" is one of the most underrated songs of this album. I think it wasn't catchy and commercial enough to be a hit. "Hats" is another song people want to forget. It is maybe my least favorite song on this album but it has sense of humor with a good message. I think it is about the "roles" we have to go through in our lives. It is like we have to pretend sometimes and behave nicely enough. This was maybe the most produced album of Amy's carrier but it isn't overproduced in my opinion. It is very enjoyable to listen to without giving too much sweetness.
