A Tribute to Jim Morrison (later re titled as The Doors: A Tribute to Jim Morrison and No One Here Gets Out Alive: A Tribute to Jim Morrison) is a 1981 documentary about Jim Morrison, lead singer of American rock band the Doors who died in July 1971. The documentary explores Morrison's interest in film (he was a graduate of UCLA film school), poetry, psychology, mysticism and sexuality.

When this documentary was first released on home video in 1981 (under the title The Doors: A Tribute to Jim Morrison), it was arguably the best video biography of late Doors leader Jim Morrison. With its rerelease on VHS and DVD-Video more than 20 years later, it stands the test of time. Key players in Morrison's life are interviewed, including surviving Doors members Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore; producer Paul Rothchild; and band associate Danny Sugerman, who co-wrote the landmark Doors biography No One Here Gets out Alive. Best of all, there is plenty of performance footage and interviews with Morrison to give added depth.

Jim Morrison of the Doors has often been hailed as one of the most charismatic and controversial figures to emerge from the rock music scene of the 1960s, and the fiery passion of his performances and the ambitious poetic conceits of his lyrics continue to inspire fans and fellow artists more than three decades after his death in 1971.

In addition to clips of the band in action, it features interviews with the surviving members of The Doors and many others who were instrumental in creating and maintaining the legend.

No One Here Gets Out Alive: A Tribute to Jim Morrison (Video 1981). Documentary Biography Music. Probably the biggest disappointment about this DVD/video, the Doors on their tour of Europe in 1968, is that it's not really a full concert like with the Hollywood Bowl video. It's more of a pastiche of different clips and appearances, and interview footage from Paul Kantner and Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane, who give some interesting (if not really necessary with the rest of the footage) anecdotes on the Doors
