What a great progression from previous two excellent albums. Sharleens voice goes up a notch with variation and style and the band excels with maturity. Different song writing styles starting to show here on this album but still unmistakingly Texas. So in Love with you a beautiful ballad , You've got to Live a Little full of soul and So Called Friend a great opener along with the rest of the album.
Tim DiGravina's 'Review' of this album is a complete load of drivel!! A quite SUPERB album before the more commercial material came along. Which he at least did get RIGHT as both White On Blonde and The Hush are very good albums. Give it a listen yourself if you have only had a cursory liking to this group and make your own mind up folks.
