Doctor Syntax is an album by Scottish musician Edwyn Collins. It was released in 2002. Its title comes from The Three Tours of Dr. Syntax, a comic poem by William Combe and cartoonist Thomas Rowlandson. Home Again is the sixth solo album by former Orange Juice singer Edwyn Collins, released 17 September 2007 on Heavenly Records. The album was recorded at Collins' West Heath Studios in the winter of 2004 but was not completed until early 2007. In the interim, Collins' suffered two brain haemorrhages in February 2005 and was hospitalised for most of that year. After a long recovery process, he returned to his studio to mix the album in the winter of 2006 with the help of engineer Seb Lewsley.

Edwyn Collins (born 23 August 1959) is a Scottish musician from Edinburgh, Scotland. He formed the Nu-Sonics in 1976, which became Orange Juice in 1979. The group is perhaps best known for the No. 8 hit "Rip it Up", its only UK top 40 single. In 1985, Orange Juice broke up, and he has since then pursued a solo career.

Edwyn Collins' first taste of musical success came with the formation of Orange Juice, one of the most beloved indie bands to come from Glasgow's neo-pop scene of the late '70s. Although Orange Juice found some mainstream acceptance, ("Rip It Up" made the . charts in 1983) the band was frustrated by what they perceived was their lack of success and called it quits in1984.
