Sándor Weöres (Hungarian pronunciation: ; 22 June 1913 – 22 January 1989) was a Hungarian poet and author. Born in Szombathely, Weöres was brought up in the nearby village of Csönge. Weöres attended the University of Pécs, studying law first before moving on to geography and history.
János Kulka (11 December 1929 – 18 October 2001) was a Hungarian conductor and composer. Kulka studied in Budapest, where he was born. He was solo repetiteur and later conductor at the Hungarian State Opera House. János Kulka (11 December 1929 – 18 October 2001) was a Hungarian conductor and composer. Since 1957 he worked in Vienna, at the Bavarian State Opera, the Staatstheater Stuttgart and since 1961 at the Hamburg State Opera.
