Eva Be embodies the sound of that city like no other artist. Effortless, she elegantly moves between genres like Dub, House or any other urban electronic style. The First Lady of Dub, House & Electro, that’s what she’s called by true Berliners. A bit later she became a constant member of famous Sonarkollektiv. Her debut album Moving Without Travelling, heavily inspired by Eva Be’s long lasting love for Dub and Reggae attracted a lot attention. Not to mention the well-known features such as Fat Freddy’s Drop’s Joe Dukie, Sugar B and the German-Iranian singer and actor Pegah Ferydoni. Thereupon the British jazz magazine Straight No Chaser elected her Berlin’s Rising Star. Multitudinous remixes for established artists like Recloose, Micatone, Ye:Solar, Markus Enochson and Tolcha followed.
