ELECTRIC SHOCKS was the first solo album by the legendary t/eccentric. Originally released on the United Artists label, ELECTRIC SHOCKS carried on the wit humor and musical eccentricity that Roger had first explored with the Bonzos and featured musicians such as Peter Banks (Yes), the Flamin' Groovies, Thunderclap Newman and B. J. Cole on this delightfully off-the-wall record. Roger Ruskin Spear continues the tradition on this album with songs that actually hold up quite well. There's shenanigans on this collections, but the music is outstanding. Had the record, have the CD.
