The timeline below shows where the character Alan Campbell appears in The Picture of Dorian Gray. The colored dots and icons indicate which themes are associated with that appearance. mail, one letter seemingly from one of his wronged women. He writes a letter to Alan Campbell and sends it away with his servant. Eventually, after much nervous waiting by Dorian, Alan Campbell arrives (full context).

He must have done something wrong at one point, since Dorian has solid blackmail materia. ut still, he just seems like a good guy who got caught up in the wrong crowd. He's an earnest scientist and musician, and, from his description, we gather that he's quite brilliant. However, Dorian had to come along and ruin everything. When Dorian summons the wary Alan back, we can tell that he's tried his very hardest to put his friendship with Dorian behind him, but alas-you can't ever escape Dorian Gray, it seems. In the end, after he's forced to dispose of Basil's body for Dorian (ugh!), we later find out that he commits suicide.

The Bluegrass Album is the nineteenth studio album and the first bluegrass album by American country music artist Alan Jackson. It was released on September 24, 2013 via Alan's Country Records and EMI Nashville. Jackson wrote eight songs for the album. It also includes covers of The Dillards' "There Is a Time", John Anderson's "Wild and Blue" and Bill Monroe's "Blue Moon of Kentucky".

When Alan read it, he was plainly terrified and he accepted to do what Dorian was asking him to do. But what intrigues me the most is what Dorian says: I have a letter written already. So maybe Alan had a current lover (or a former lover) and Dorian knew how much he cared about him. That letter would not only be one exposing Alan, but also exposing this imagined lover of mine and maybe the address was the parents' address. That would make perfect sense keeping in mind how painfully and strongly Alan reacts to what was written in the piece of paper.
