Matthew and Son is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Cat Stevens, released in March 1967. Stevens began writing songs during his early teenage years. His earliest influences included the sound of early British bands, such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, influenced by popular American rhythm and blues music.
Featuring Tegan and Sara. Produced by Matthew Dear. I haven't stolen things in years Hate flowers but I'm gonna leave you souvenirs Freaking out and paralyzed Your body tells me. I haven't told you lies this year Wouldn't send you flowers if my love was insincere Freaking out and paralyzed Your body makes me. If I was one of the good ones I don't think you'd like me I'm one of the bad ones And that's why you feel lucky.

The Crüe’s last album of the 1990s was almost comically bad. During the making of it John Corabi was dumped and Vince Neil persuaded to rejoin the band, but was result the classic Crüe comeback fans hoped for? No it wasn’t. The only decent song, Afraid, comes on like a post-grunge Cheap Trick. The worst, Brandon, is a sappy orchestral ballad written and sung by Tommy Lee. Vince Neil called the album terrible. Def Leppard – X (2002). When going grunge on Slang didn’t work, and an attempt to recapture former glories with Euphoria failed, Leppard decided to kickstart a new millennium as the world’s oldest boy band, and made an album with people who wrote songs for Backstreet Boys, Britney and Westlife. The result was an utter shambles that managed to be both turgid and lightweight
Slower songs dot the set list, but the Plain White T's never attempt to recreate the magic that fueled "Hey There Delilah," focusing instead on slick, sunny songcraft with nary an acoustic guitar in sight. Perhaps fueled by his recent success, frontman Tom Higgenson is in fine voice here, particularly when flanked by his bandmates' harmonies.
When Nathan Williams served up his new Wavves LP in August, it didn't seem like much time had passed since his insanely blown-out album just a year earlier. Inadvertently or not, Williams had become a polarizing figure in the indie world, and it seemed like he'd never really gone away.
