VALDY Born -1946 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada A veteran of the guitar and piano from an early age, Valdy grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, born of Danish parents. After one album for Duke Street entitled Notes from Places in 1985, Valdy signed with Oak Street Music and released Heart at Work in 1993. He has also collaborated with Max Bennett and Bob Ruzicka.

Paul Valdemar Horsdal, CM (born 1 September 1945 in Ottawa, Ontario), commonly known as Valdy, is a Canadian folk and country musician whose solo career began in the early 1970s. He is known for "Rock and Roll Song", his first mainstream single. Valdy is the winner of two Juno Awards for Folk Singer of the Year and Folk Entertainer of the Year, and has received seven additional Juno nominations. His fourteen albums have achieved sales of nearly half a million copies, four of which are certified gold.

Valdy(ヴァルデ) is a former Vatlantis Imperial soldier who served under Zelshione and was Hida Nayuta's bodyguard. Currently, she is Hida Reiri's bodyguard. In the aftermath of Thanatos's defeat and Nayuta's death, which also forces the Vatlantis forces to leave when the Entrance begins to disappear, Valdy is the only Valtantis warrior who stay behind and stays with Ataraxia residents.

Valdy recorded a live album, Family Gathering, through A&M; it was recorded at Massey Hall in Toronto and released in 1974. Valdy appeared on the CBC TV show The Beachcombers as the environmental activist "Halibut" Stu. He also secured a part in the reunion production of The New Beachcombers performing a song he wrote, "It's The Water," as part of a jug band.
