Actually, he sat me in a dark room, put the record on, and wouldn't let me leave! It scared the crap out of me for years afterward! Now, many years later, I look back and realize that cuz did me a great favor. That night was the beginning of a lifelong love affair w/ all things horror. DROP DEAD is a masterpiece, especially THE DARK, and CHICKEN HEART, which still bring sweet dread into my mind today! I can still recite much of the dialogue!

In 1971-1972, Oboler produced a syndicated radio series, The Devil and Mr. O (he liked for people to call him "Mr. O"), which featured vintage recordings from Lights Out and his other series with newly recorded introductions by Mr. O himself.

Drop Dead is an album originally released in 1984 by Weymouth hardcore band Siege. It is the only album the band ever released. The original "album" was a self-released demo cassette with six songs recorded at Radiobeat studios in Boston and produced by Lou Giordano. There were also three songs recorded for Pushead's Cleanse the Bacteria hardcore compilation. When the album was finally given a proper (.

Filmmaker Arch Oboler asked Wright to design a rubble stone house on a cliff overlooking his 400-acre property in Southern California. But Oboler suffered a series of financial setbacks and personal catastrophes - Oboler’s 5-year-old son drowned in a flooded bomb shelter that was being excavated for the house. The residential compound was never completed. Only a gatehouse and a small artist retreat were designed and built as Wright intended.
