Alte unnennbare Tage, O. 2.
What memories? Thoughts of the "Alte unnennbare Tage!". The gravity underlying this final phrase has lingered barely beneath the surface all along, unstated but keenly felt -Alte unnennbare Tage! Eduard Mörike (1804-1875).

Scott was the début solo album by Scott Walker, originally released in the United Kingdom on Philips Records in 1967. The album received both strong commercial success as well as critical praise, hitting No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. This album, alongside Scott 2, features Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" recording technique, Scott 3 and Scott 4 however do not.
Ace was the first solo album by Grateful Dead rhythm guitarist Bob Weir, released in 1972. Its origins come from an offer by the Dead's Warner Bros. Records label to have band members cut their own solo records, and it came out the same year as Jerry Garcia's Garcia and Mickey Hart's Rolling Thunder. However, in the case of Ace, Weir's backing band was the Dead itself (minus Ron "Pigpen" McKernan), and all songs except "Walk in the Sunshine" became concert staples of the Dead.
