Solipsist is the debut studio album by Bay Area technical death metal band The Zenith Passage. It was released via Unique Leader Records on April 15, 2016. It is the band's first release for Unique Leader Records, with whom they signed in 2013. The album focuses on the concept of solipsism. The album features a guest vocal appearance by Fallujah’s Alex Hofmann, and guitar solo by Wes Hauch (ex-The Faceless).

THE ZENITH PASSAGE builds upon this foundation, expanding into themes of nonexistence and a computer-generated fictional reality experienced by all of humanity. Solipsist demands that listeners join the band on their voyage to explore the unsettlingly complex and improbable world they’ve uncovered in this bold experiment, this gut-wrenching visceral transmission of disturbing intellectual revelation. Now, with their debut full-length album Solipsist set for release on April 15th, 2016, the stage is set for THE ZENITH PASSAGE to reveal their most impressive statement to date.

The Zenith Passage is an American technical death metal band from Los Angeles, California founded in 2012. They are currently signed to Unique Leader Records. To date they have released one EP, Cosmic Dissonance, and one LP, Solipsist.

Justin in The Zenith Passage now plays for The Faceless. And some of the riffs on the first song were written for The Faceless but weren't used so he used them.

The Zenith Passage is one of the few bands that does this properly. These songs are extremely complex, ebbing and flowing, with shifting ideas in the proverbial depth of field, but crucially – never losing sight of the big picture. Highlights are definitely the second track as well as Hypnagogia, which displays the most staggering technical faculty I've heard in a long time. You would get "Solipsist.

Tech death done right. These guys show remarkable skill and maturity for a young act. I can't wait to hear what this band sounds like in two more albums.
