As with most tribute albums, the included songs are inferior to the originals. I love the HDH canon from the 60’s and the price was quite inexpensive ( at my time of purchase) so I bought it. This tribute is unusual to the degree most of these artists recorded for Motown at various times. Most of the songs are quite enjoyable and if you love 60’s Motown this is a worthwhile purchase. A few of the songs are a bit too discoish for my taste, but it’s a nice reminder of the glory of this era.
