They released their first album, Into the Night, through the Heavy Artillery label in November 2008 On February 1, 2013, Enforcer released Death by Fire in Stockholm, Sweden. Olof Wikstrand – lead vocals (2004–present), guitars (2004–2006, 2011–present), bass (2004–2007), drums (2004–2006).

Anyone old enough to have heard bands like Angel Witch, Diamond Head, Rage, Exciter, and even very early Iron Maiden will immediately recognize the sounds on Into the Night. The question is, does Enforcer have anything to offer beyond a trip in the wayback machine? The answer to that is an emphatic "maybe. They've got energy and talent to spare - their songs have catchy melodies, memorable choruses, fluid guitar solos, and dynamics. There's even a churning instrumental for when vocalist Olof Wikstrand's piercing wail gets tiring.

Recorded and produced in Hvergelmer Studios by Enforcer, 2007/2008. Mixed and mastered at Leon Music AB, Karlstad. All music, lyrics and arrangements by Enforcer, except "On the Loose" by Enforcer and Jacob Ljunberg.

… ARGH.This is the worst case of “nostalgia revivalism”, which turns into uninspired worship (without being actually true plagiarism). Swedish band Enforcer specializes into reviving the Classic Metal of the early 80’s of Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, and Raven. This wouldn’t be a problem per se, given that some of those bands managed to write good and catchy songs in the past: Enforcer refuse to do it. Their debut album Into the Night (not counting those useless tits fetishes in the cover) is a collection of constantly systematic pseudo-rockers where everything screams The Number of the Beast-era Iron Maiden: even the guitar riffs and the bass fills are written following the Adrian Smith-Dave Murray-Steve Harris templates, including the lone instrumental cut. Olof Wikstrand’s vocals are uselessly high pitched and have a rickety and feeble foundation, which make them constantly out of tune and lacking depth. If there was something to remember between those incredibly uninspired settings, we would have already written it. But there isn’t.Highlights: “City Lights”.
