B'z is the self-titled debut studio album by the Japanese rock duo B'z. It was released on September 21, 1988, and reached on the Japanese charts. The album sold 3,790 copies in its first week and eventually sold 338,360 in total. The band did not tour in support of the album, because its nine songs were all the material they had at the time, and they felt it would not be a proper show with just 40 minutes of material.

Instead of immediately performing live after a debut album, as many Japanese bands were doing, B'z chose to have a clear vision of how they wanted to perform and decided to wait until they had enough material to play live. The two concentrated on recording, raising the quality of their music. Their efforts resulted in a second album, Off the Lock, released on 21 May 1989. With this second album came their first series of live performances, known better to their fans as "Live-Gym".
