Ex-Crim David Cross has been busy of late with no less than three new collaborative albums released so far this year dgmlive. Of the twelve new compositions of the album they are accompanied by Mick PAUL bassist DAVID CROSS BAND since 1995 and Craig BLUNDELL on drums at FROST. A completely instrumental album, serving the violin and the saxophone, even the flute. We are not disoriented with the first title Predator, very squeaky even threatening, extreme darkness on a tense climate, the intensity is palpable. The saxophone creaks like VDGG's time and the violin intertwines with the tortuous sounds of the wind tunnel, the rhythm of their colleagues is also in tune.

Powerful, speedy and masterly songs and instrumentals are followed here by more lyrical (but no less progressive) compositions only twice. This album is a true model of modern Prog-Doom-Metal with that mix of magic power and intricacy, for example, of King Crimson. As usually happened after the absolutely non-commercial works, Dio was throwed out from major "Phonogram", and his new "home" is good German "SPV". The first album from the one of the most popular Prog-Metal bands. it is the hardest production from Dream Theater. A weak moment of this work is a low audio quaity, and also their first soloist Charlie Dominici's vocal stylistics doesn't grow on me.
