Ale Möller - The Horse and the Crane mp3 download

Music by Franz Gruber (1818). Live at Cassels in Grängesberg, Sweden, Dec. 4, 2009. Ale Möller on mandola.

A Wolf had been feasting too greedily, and a bone had stuck crosswise in his throat. He could get it neither up nor down, and of course, he could not eat a thing.

The album consists of original compositions by Moller that were originally part of the score for a theater production about the expansion of Sweden's railways into the country's northern territory. As with all of Moller's work, The Horse & The Crane features intricate, lilting melodies, which are highlighted by Willemark's pristine vocals.

Arild Staffan Möller(born March 26, 1955), known professionally as Ale Möller, is a Swedish musician and composer. He was born and grew up in Scania in southern Sweden and started in music as a jazz trumpeter. He lived for a while in Greece where he learned to play the bouzouki and played with composer Mikis Theodorakis. Möller has been a member of Frifot, Stockholm Folk Big Band, Enteli, Filarfolket, Ale Möller's Lyckliga Enmansorkester, and Neo Minore.

At last the Crane, tempted with the lucre of the reward, and having first procured him to confirm his promise with an oath, undertook the business, and ventured his long neck into the rapacious felon’s throat. In short, he plucked out the bone, and expected the promised gratuity. Then the Crane put its long neck down the Wolf’s throat, and with its beak loosened the bone and removed it. Will you kindly give me the reward you promised? said the Crane. The Wolf grinned, showed his teeth and said: Be content.

She is fiction She's a curse She's a pretty thing on a high, high shelf You've got your eyes open You know your worth But there's so many things you want for yourself. We get what we deserve We never really learn. I keep tallies I keep score I'm a petty thing on a high, high horse You've got your mouth open I hold my tongue There's so many things that we can't ignore

Let us enjoy reading this story of The Peacock and The Crane. T here was a peacock who often boasted about his beauty. Everyday he walked to the banks of a large lake and looked his own reflections and said "Oh! What a beautiful bird I am! Look at my colourful tail". Once the peacock saw a crane on the banks of the lake. He said with a sneer to the crane, "What a colourless bird you are! You have no beautiful and colourful feathers like mine". The crane replied, "Of course! I don't have beautiful feathers. But, my feathers can make me fly across the lake.

Suddenly he recalled that there was a crane who lived on the banks of a nearby lake. He immediately went to the crane and said, "My friend, I've a bone stuck deep into my throat. If you could please pull it out of my throat with your long beak, I shall pay you suitably for your help and remain ever-grateful to yo. The crane saw his pitiable condition and agreed to help him. He put him long beak, and in the process, half of his neck also, deep into the throat of the wolf and pulled the bone out. The wolf was very happy to have the bone pulled out of his throat
