B-sides (and a lot of A-sides, too) didn't make it onto UK albums in the '60s. The hits are easy to find, but this collection gathers up all the rare UK B-sides from the Hollies singles of the Graham Nash and early Terry Sylvester eras. All are written by the Hollies. The sound is glorious mono, with four exceptions.Right from the start, Clarke, Hicks and Nash were gifted songwriters, and this set displays that over and over. A must for Hollies fans and a good off-center starting point for newcomers to the band.
