Louise Rutkowski (born 1964) is a Scottish singer who rose to prominence as part of the 4AD music project This Mortal Coil. At 19, Louise was signed to CBS Records, recording three singles and an album with soul producer Pete Wingfield with the band Sunset Gun. Prior to forming this band with sister Dee and keyboard player Ross Campbell, Louise, along with sister Dee, performed as backing vocalists for Bourgie Bourgie; a band created by legendary Postcard Records' boss Alan Horne.

This debut solo album from Glasgow-based chanteuse Louise Rutkowski has been a long time coming. Rutkowski fronted soul pop band Sunset Gun in the 1980s, was a guest vocalist for 4AD supergroup This Mortal Coil and Ivo Watts-Russell's follow-up project The Hope Blister, and collaborated with composer Craig Armstrong in the 1990s as The Kindness of Strangers.

Diary of a Lost Girl (German: Tagebuch einer Verlorenen) is a 1929 silent film directed by Georg Wilhelm Pabst and starring American silent star Louise Brooks. It is shot in black and white, and various versions of the film range from 79 minutes to 116 minutes in length. This was Brooks' second and last film with Pabst, and like their prior collaboration, Pandora's Box, it is considered to be a classic by many film historians.

Louise Brooks (1906-1985) was one of the most fascinating personalities of Hollywood, always being compared with her most important characterization as protagonist: Lulu in Georg Wilhelm Pabst's Pandora's Box. Along with her beauty and talent she had an independent streak and refused to accept the restrictive role that women had in American society.

I have to admit, I am disappointed in this Kino release.
