There are twenty years to go, The best of all I hope. Enjoy the ride, the medicine show. And them's the breaks for we designer fakes. We need to concentrate on more than meets the eye. There are twenty years to go, The faithful and the low. The best of starts, the broken heart, the stone. There are twenty years to go, The punch drunk and the blow. The worst of starts, the mercy part, the phone.
Перевод текста песни Twenty Years исполнителя (группы) Placebo. There are twenty years to go, Впереди двадцать лет. the faithful and the low. Истинных и скверных. Лучшие начинания, разбитое сердце, камень. There are twenty years the go, Впереди двадцать лет, The punch drunk and the blow.
Album Once More With Feeling. There are twenty years to go And twenty ways to know Who will wear Who will wear the hat. There are twenty years to go The best of all I hope Enjoy the ride The medicine show. There are twenty years to go A golden age I know But all will pass, we'll end too fast You know. There are twenty years to go And many friends I hope Though some may hold the rose, some hold the rope. And that's the end, and that's the start of it That's the whole, and that's the part of it That's the high, and that's the heart of it That's the long, and that's the short of it That's the best, and that's the test in it That's the doubt, the doubt the.
Twenty years ago tonight, said the man, I had dinner here with Jimmy Wells. He was my best friend and the best fellow in the world. He and I grew up together here in New York, like two brothers. Twenty years is a long time, but not long enough to change the shape of a man’s nose. It sometimes changes a good man into a bad one, said the tall man. You’ve been under arrest for ten minutes, Bob.
Twenty years ago to-night," said the man, "I dined here at 'Big Joe' Brady's with Jimmy Wells, my best chum, and the finest chap in the world. He and I were raised here in New York, just like two brothers, together. I was eighteen and Jimmy was twenty. The next morning I was to start for the West to make my fortune. You couldn't have dragged Jimmy out of New York; he thought it was the only place on earth. Well, well, well! -twenty years is a long time. The old gone, Bob; I wish it had lasted, so we could have had another dinner there. How has the West treated you, old man?"
