Audio Bullys are an electronic music project, originally consisting of Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale. The group were once managed by the DJ and presenter George Lamb. Franks and Dinsdale released their debut album Ego War in 2003, and two years later followed up with Generation.
For young turk Richard Dinsdale, it's a way of life. Although only a sprightly 24 years old, this new kid on the house block's been living, breathing and bleeding dance music for the best part of a decade. His mouth-watering mix of tech-tinged electro and bass-heavy house is a regular fixture at leading London nightspot The Cross, his solid, groove-led productions snapped up by UK labels Renaissance, Kinky Vinyl, Big Love and Toolroom.
Small, but Strong: the Way to Better Hearing. If you have difficulty understanding what is being said in a discussion or against a background of ambient noise, if you can no longer hear the birds twittering or leaves rustling, or if friends and relatives tell you your TV is too loud - then you should seek professional medical advice. The doctor will clarify whether you suffer from hearing loss and whether this can be dealt with by medication or a surgical procedure.
Hearing aids amplify sounds in our surroundings. a voice, and unwanted noise. People with hearing impairments often have difficulties detecting low-level sounds so amplification is an important function of the hearing aid. Today, all sounds and noises are amplified, so when hearing aid users listen to a person talking, both the speech and the reverberations from the room are amplified
About one in three people between 65 and 74 experiences hearing loss and that number jumps to half of everyone over 75. And while we can argue until the cows come home why Medicare doesn't think this is enough of a problem to cover hearing aids, we have some hacks that at least will help you hear better: 1. Face the person who is speaking. Yes, there is a little lip reader in all of us. Getting visual cues will help your brain fill in the blanks. The UCSF Medical Center says that facing your partner will go a long way to improving how much of the conversation you are able to hear
Hearing loss is a common health concern for people of all ages.
