Good Times is the twentieth studio album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released on March 20, 1974. The album was constructed by the first pick of a session held at Stax Studios in Memphis in December 1973 and two songs, "I've Got a Thing About You Baby" and "Take Good Care of Her", which were left over from the session at Stax in July 1973. The album includes a collection of songs that vary in style and genre
Good Times! is the twelfth studio album by the Monkees. Produced mainly by Adam Schlesinger (with some additional bonus tracks produced by Andrew Sandoval), the album was recorded to commemorate the band's 50th anniversary. It is the first Monkees studio album since Justus (1996) the longest gap to date and the first since the death of founder member Davy Jones. The album features surviving Monkees Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork, as well as a posthumous contribution from Jones.
I fell down to earth from a hundred miles away And somehow I still make it work But it's overrated and somehow played out. Three doors down so you can't ignore it I'll hunt you down like a tyrannosaurus My teeth are sharp like the great white shark Let me taste that flesh, it's my favourite part Got an eagle beak, with the ostrich feet Seven spider eyes for every day of the week Means I'm still up working while your. bitch ass sleeps I'm an alien among the human beings

Surfing with the Alien belongs to its era like Are You Experienced? belongs to its own - perhaps it doesn't transcend its time the way the Jimi Hendrix Experience's 1967 debut does, but Joe Satriani's 1987 breakthrough can be seen as the gold standard for guitar playing of the mid- to late '80s, an album that captures everything. that was good about the glory days of shred.
Loving the Alien (live, Tibet House Benefit, 2003). Bowie realized that Alien, obviously one of the better-quality pieces on the album, would have to serve double duty-not only the Epic Bowie Song of the record ( Ricochet had this role last time around), it also had to be a potential single. So the version of Alien that wound up on Tonight is, in its somber way, compromised. It’s a fortunate thing in music that so much of the subconscious comes through with the melody and the placement of a particular word on a particular note. For better or for worse, the information is inherent in the song, not in the writer or his intentions or even in the lyrics. It’s probably my strongest point that I write evocatively in terms of musical and verbal expression.
Good Times! is certainly the best Monkees LP since their '60s heyday, but it also stands firmly on its own as one hell of an album circa 2016. To be honest, you'd be hard-pressed to find another act from the same era who has made an album this good in recent memory, and that includes any of the heavyweights still alive and kicking out there.
